Bedside System — Edition One

A bedside table in solid walnut. The wireless charger is built into the top, invisible from above. Deep drawers with dovetail joints. Design study for an edition piece.

Material finish

Most bedside tables ignore technology. The phone sits on top, the charger hangs behind the bed, the lamp stands beside it. This prototype begins with a different question: what if all those components are part of the object itself?

The prototype has a Qi charging surface integrated into the top, a dimmable LED strip along the underside (indirect light, no visible source), and a silent drawer without a handle, push-to-open. It stands on a steel frame of 12mm profile.

This is a prototype, intended to test the direction. A next version will work toward home automation integration. Interested in a similar custom system? Get in touch.
