This handcrafted oak coffee table was designed as a quiet and functional centrepiece for the living room. Made from solid European oak, it combines warm natural material with soft lines and a calm, balanced presence.
The table features gently rounded corners, subtly tapered legs, and an open lower shelf that offers space for books, magazines, or everyday objects. Its proportions are intentionally low and grounded, giving the piece a light but solid appearance.
Finished with a natural oil, the oak keeps its tactile texture and rich tone while remaining protected for daily use. Small variations in grain, colour, and figure are part of the character of the wood, making each piece unique.
This project reflects Studio Bartholomeus’ approach to furniture: honest materials, careful proportions, and handmade pieces that bring warmth and stillness into daily life.
